EMERGEORTHO, P is Hiring a Director of Clinical Operations Near Hickory, NC

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manages and oversees operations for clinic locations
  • Collaborates with executive team to set operational goals that align with EmergeOrtho’s mission, vision, and values
  • Responds to major staff and patient concerns in a timely manner
  • Meets with department managers on a regular basis to make sure all operations are running smoothly
  • Provides strategic direction for all assigned departments
  • Keeps an open line of professional communication with managers, assigned staff, and providers
  • Maintains a pleasant and cooperative demeanor
  • Utilizes available reporting software to evaluate operations
  • Ensures and monitors implementation of and compliance with all clinic policies and procedures; reporting and initiating needed changes
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
    • Participates in committee meetings to offer feedback and facilitate system changes
    • Develops and facilitates ongoing professional education programs for providers and clinical staff

  • Maintains detailed knowledge of practice management and other computer software as it relates to job functions
  • Ensures all clinical personnel are appropriately trained, licensed, and credentialed
    • Give clear directives to assigned team, permitting appropriate dissemination of procedures, protocols, and general information throughout the practice.
    • Interact daily with COO regarding current business matters; assist colleagues in administrative projects; provide operational insight.
    • Manage and communicates closely with all physician and non-physician leadership and staff and all other managers in effort to optimize operational workflow.
    • Strive to minimize liability issues and patient complaints.
    • Assist in conducting interviews of management as well as medical provider candidates.
    • Write and respond to a high volume of emails in a prompt manner; place and receive a large number of phone calls daily.
    • Develop or finalize the development of written protocols for clinical operating procedures
    • Reviews physician schedules periodically to maximize physician efficiency and productivity and coordinates changes with COO, management team and physicians
    • Ensures the practice adheres to all applicable regulatory standards
    • Makes recommendations for purchase of capital equipment to COO
    • Monitors available reports for the purpose of improving operations
    • Ensures the practice complies with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations and practice policies and procedures in the clinical area
    • Maintains patient confidentiality; ensures that all office locations and staff are in compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements
    • Maintains compliance with practice policies and procedures
    • Performs all other tasks and projects assigned by the COO or physicians
    • Travel to regional locations required up to 20%
